Seeing how Sidewayzine is currently only a one man project, progress is... slow, to say the least. But, having said that, I can gladly present to you a project I've been working on with my friends at the Leading Edge Kiteboarding School in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, and Ocean City, NJ. We had a full week of great winds to get some real nice footage in the sunny paradise that is St. Croix. It includes footage of the island, the owners of the school (Chris Doyle and Sara Seaver), and their students strutting off their newly earned skills. The final clip nearly killed Chris and myself when an oversized wave plowed into us while at the nearby tide pool.  I, of course, was standing over a hole and filming that a month before my arrival, someone was sucked down, washed out to sea, and died. They were also probably hit by one of these huge waves first. This prodution has been underway for four months, and now, it is ready for the mighty interwebs!

The pro riders for the 2013 REAL Triple S Invitational kiteboarding competition in Cape Hatteras, NC has been announced.  There are still four wildcard spots open, the winners of the wildcard positions will be determined based off of entry videos submitted by the riders. The wildcard videos are available on REAL's website, and you can also check out the list of the announced riders. If you're not familiar with the Triple S Invitational, then check out video footage from last years competition!
